Goodwin's points

Goodwin’s Points

Voyeurismis the pleasure in looking when you can’t be seen by the person you are looking at – a lot of videos create this illusion.

Selling the artist - the main singer had more screen time than the other two singers in the video so this sells the band with Ciro acting as the frontman.  Again the way that we dressed also sold us as artists as fans of tis type of music of the indie/rock genre will also be into a similar style.

Lyrics/visuals - some of the lyrics matched visuals as when Ciro sang 'la la la' the words came up on screen.  Also we matched visuals to the lyrics for example when we were sitting outside a coffee shop to the lyrics "go to the coffee shop dressed as we are."  We also showed Dom's hair as "a f***ing mess" when  the lyrics came up.

Music/visuals - the cuts matched the beat which matches the indie genre as most music videos of an indie go to a beat such as the Kaiser Cheifs, "Never Miss A Beat".

Intertextuality - an advert for the awe inspiring Peugeot 206 - integrated technology.
                         - Aunties Tea Shop in Cambridge
                         - Clothing makes - A&F, Fenchurch, Henleys

Genre - the genre is indie/rock.  As mentioned above the beat of the music and the matching visuals help to implement this genre along with the type of clothing being worn by the artists.
