Why we chose stop motion...

We were looking at using stop motion before we even heard the song but after listening to it we knew we were using it for definite. Stop motion appealed to us for a few reasons. 

1) when using stop motion the possibilities are endless, any effect you are looking for can be achieved with relative ease. 

2) with the ability to use any objects and make them preform any movement stop motion often give as surreal feel/look to a video. We felt that this fitted particularly well with the song of choice and would add the overall finish of the music video.

3) we have worked with stop motion before. we used it in our children's film opening sequence. We felt that we could use what we know/learnt from that to help create an even better stop motion video than before.
