Make-up

During her dream phase. She could have white foundation or face paint on with mascara and red lipstick. This is so that when she stands up from lying on the floor and looks at her "dead body", when she "cries" and  knows that she is dead, her mascara will run down her face.

We would probably do something similar to the picture above but maybe less dramatic.

Hopefully getting this sort of effect when she is crying with mascara on.
