9th reflection / risk assessment of re-shooting our lip-syncing again

We managed to book the green room for an hour, from 9-10am. However we were able to come in before that if we could get someone to open up the room for us.

This is so we could reshoot the lip-syncing footage as the shots were too dark when we looked at them in Final-Cut, even though they looked fine on camera.

We had to move the drum kit that was in the green room carefully to the other side of the room. This is because the drum kit was right in front the black curtain we wished to put the christmas lights on, and use more camera movement like panning and zooming in and out. We also had to move tables and chairs out of the way so we could film close ups and other shot types in the space in the green room.

Before we started filming we also had to set up the christmas lights on the black certain. We had to use black tape to keep it on. Whilst our actress / group member was standing still during the lip-syncing shots, we had her placed so that she wouldn't be treading on any wires that were near her.

When making sure our actress / group member could see the lyrics clearly, we put each of the ten sheets  of paper that the lyrics were printed on, on a music stand. Whilst panning and trying to do lots of camera movement, we had to make sure the person filming wouldn't trip over.

We had enough space to use the dolly during this session unlike our other lip-syncing footage we've shot. This allowed us to have steady camera movements instead of hand held camera movements, as hand held panning and zooming could be shaky instead of smooth, which is what the dolly helps us to do.

After filming we had to safely pack away all the equipment. We had to make sure the professional flood light had cooled down before we started packing it away, otherwise we could have burned are hands as it was very hot after being on for so long.

We also had to put the drum kit back where it was carefully after filming.
