Our music video for Ellie Goulding - Human reminds the audience of
Ellie Goulding's new song called "Anything Could Happen" by Ellie Goulding.
As a group we didn't know about Ellie Goulding's music video "Anything Could Happen" was her on a beach and singing in a flowing creamy dress. We unintentionally made our music video similar to hers.
As a group we didn't know about Ellie Goulding's music video "Anything Could Happen" was her on a beach and singing in a flowing creamy dress. We unintentionally made our music video similar to hers.
This is because of the scenic shots of the beach during the music video above,
(the mise-en-scene).
At the start to 0:03 the waves are crashing on the rocks. In our rough cut, we hadn't put in the shots of the waves yet. At the moment we are trying to figure out were one of them can go if not more but jump cutting from one another within the music video at some point, because it's hard placing as we don't think it fits in most places of our music video.(the mise-en-scene).
In our final video we are trying to fit in the waves we filmed at Cromer beach. In Ellie Goulding's music video we see the waves for a split second.
In our music video we have our actress (me) wearing a cream dress that can flow easily. In her music video she is also wearing a creamy coloured dress that flows easily. In her music video you first see this dress around 0:21, however you first see it flowing around 1:20.
At 1:24 there is clear use of slow motion when the sea is hitting the rocks. In our music video we've used slow motion of me running and walking so far. We do still have to think about where to put in our fill in footage, which are the animals in slow motion such as the seagulls and the crab shots.
During this music video there is a misty sunset shot at 1:40. In the end we didn't get a sunset shot, however we did get misty shots from Cromer when we filmed for the second time there.
