Lighting on the beach

As we are going to the beach for most of our film, the lighting we will use is mostly natural light, however on the sunset shots we may need some extra detail of lighting, so we are going to use 2 high power torches (1,000,000 candels) with 1 diffuser in front of each torch to create a softer glow. So this glow is more useful for doing close up shots on the actress in darkness or when there is less natural light. Here is 1 of the torches we will be using:

 

 

 

The downside of these torches is they have a short battery life and can only be recharged by the mains not batteries.
