Last lesson, our group did a test shoot. It went well but we did run into a few problems, for example, we wanted a slow motion scene of the actress running but when we tried to slow it down in Final Cut Express, it was very choppy and didn't flow that well. We did render it and it did help but it still looked very much like an amateur piece of footage which is not what we want.
We have planned to film on Sunday but unfortunately I will not be able to attend the filming. I was really hoping I would be able to go since I want to be able direct and show my teammates what I think will be best suited for our music video.
We discussed who our actress will be and have chosen one of our teammates, Cat. She fits the role and I believe she will make a great actress for our music video. We have also decided that I will be doing the lip syncing in a studio, this will give more of a narrative to the music video.
