Target audience

Our target audience for our music video is teens, leaning more towards females than males. I did a questionnaire and asked a few of my friends what they thought about music videos.

Female

1. I look for colourful scenery and one that tells a story.
2. A good music video I think is one that tells a story clearly. I really stay interested and I feel like I'm watching a short movie with good music.
3. One that's all over the place, and it feels like it has been rushed.

Male

1. I look for performances in a music video like people playing guitars and drums as that's what I like.
2. I like music videos that have live performances in them.
3. If it has too many scenes with the artist, I know who the artist is singing it, I'm more interested in their music not their face.
